The education sector, like the health sector, is under considerable strain, with systemic problems - both of which are priority areas for our Foundation. We prepared for the start of school with two days of training at St. John's High School in Edelény.
The two-day training was led by four of our colleagues with a focus on the development of teacher cooperation. On the first day, they were assisted by various exercises to improve communication and group dynamics. The feedback exercise on how to formulate and receive criticism was carried out in two groups, and then they were grouped together to strengthen their community through group sculpture and other collaborative games.
On the second day, we prepared for the school year ahead by focusing on specific school tasks and programmes. Teachers shared the workload and looked for opportunities to collaborate and support each other in real-life tasks.
